We are delighted to have one of WA’s leading golf coaches Craig ‘Tappie” Tapp working from The Cut. This is an exciting time for the club and we encourage those who haven’t met Tappie to catch up with him when he is next at the club.

Background
After a successful amateur career which included Craig being selected in the NSW colts team and taking up a golf scholarship at the University of Nevada Reno.USA
Craig turned professional and started his apprenticeship at Pymble Golf Club the completed it at the New Brighton Golf Club.
Craig played the tour for several years in both Australia and Asia with several Pro-Am victories and 5 top finishes in Asian 4 round tournaments.
In the last 10 years Craig has turned his concentration and passion into teaching the golf game with great results helping beginners, juniors and turning good players into tour players.
Over the last 4 years Craig has started up the Secret Harbour Harbour Golf Academy which has grown successfully and was recently awarded ‘Junior Golf Leader of the Year 2009’ at the WA PGA Awards night.
Craig has now expanded to ‘The Cut Golf Course’ and will be rolling out all these award winning programs. Teaching Philosophy
Craig has a very relaxed teaching style and concentrates on three main key areas to create a reliable and consistent golf swing.

3. Pivot leading the golf swing
